Welcome to 8th grade! Auburn University and The University of West Georgia have a special place in my heart since I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Masters degree in Instructional Technology, and a specialist degree in the Secondary English Education at those institutions. I have taught Language Arts and Literature at Bay Springs Middle School since 2006. Previously, I taught at Mount Zion Middle School in 2004 and 2005. I have a marvelous husband, two terrific daughters and son-in-laws, and four tiny grandchildren. Our daughters attended Bay Springs Middle School and Villa Rica High School before graduating from Valdosta State University and advancing their educations at Auburn University and Elon University. For fun, I enjoy the 3 G's--gardening, gaming and grandchildren. I love teaching our 8th and 9th grade Wildcats, and I am super excited to prepare these students for success in high school and beyond!
