I am Tracy Bailey Chism, and I am super excited to join Bay Springs Middle School as a 7th grade math teacher. I have substituted in some of the county’s middle schools for six years, but my passion is Bay Springs Middle.

I am a retired Georgia Department of Revenue (GDOR) Tax Agent, where I served for 30 years. Before my tenure at GDOR, I was a first grade teacher’s assistant at Glanton-Hindsman for three years. My husband, Stacy, and I attended schools in the VR cluster and graduated from Villa Rica High School.

I then attended West Georgia College and Atlanta Junior College. I graduated from Shorter University with a degree in business administration.

My husband and I are the proud parents of two grown adults: Brandon who is married to Lindsay, and Brandii who is married to Xavier Kirkland. We are also very proud grandparents of two beautiful granddaughters, Liana and Reagan.

I am a member of Mount Prospect Baptist Church of Villa Rica, Ga. I enjoy teaching the adult ladies’ Sunday School and teaching the teenage girls in Vacation Bible School (VBS). I love to cook and spend time with my family. I enjoy family gatherings and holidays with my extended family. I look forward to giving my all to teaching math to the BEST students of Bay Springs Middle.
